I really loved Jonathon’s place. It was so beautiful. Everywhere you were, you had an amazing view. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was great and barbecued both nights for our dinners. Honestly it was cozy and comforting and exactly what me and my daughter and I needed. I can’t wait until my next stay.

Pictures don't do this place justice !! We had such a comfortable stay. Beautiful surroundings , lots to do within a couple of hours, too. We could've spent the whole day at the beach in front of the property. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

The house was exactly like the pictures and so so peaceful. I also appreciated the fans, which were very needed in that hot spell.

Great stay! We saw so much wildlife in the water it was phenomenal, watched an eagle fish while we ate breakfast. Best stocked kitchen at an Airbnb. Beds where very comfortable. Jonathan had excellent communication and a nice list of recommendations. Our group had a great time!

Jonathan was a great host, very communicative and helpful, and the place was beautiful. We loved being so close the beach and greatly enjoyed our time both in the house and by the water.

Would definitely recommend a stay here if you’re looking for a cute little cabin with an amazing view and private beach access. We took out the paddle boards, our daughter loved the kids beach toys they provided, the kitchen had everything we needed including multiple ways to make coffee. We really enjoyed our stay. Host was also very responsive and helpful!

Wow wow wow! Absolutely stunning property with the most care and amenities I've ever seen at an Airbnb. From the Nespresso coffee maker to the ice machine on the counter, and even premium cookware with felt pot separators, it is clear the owners really go the extra mile to make guests feel more than at home. The beds and linens were so comfortable. We had the windows open for several hours and literally only saw 4 cars go by! So peaceful. The beach was perfect for some oyster shellfishing! The owners were also very responsive and generous and allowed us an early check in and late check out. I will definitely be back and will refer friends and clients. Such a gem on Hood Canal.

What a lovely cottage by the sea! The owners did a great job updating the place so there’s a nice mix of new and modern amenities with vintage charm and lots of personality. The view is to die for - you can see and hear the ocean from almost every room. It’s very private and remote, which gave us a peaceful stay. You do have to drive a ways to get to grocery stores or restaurants but that’s part of its appeal I feel!

A lovely spot in a charming 50s/60s updated cabin/home. The view is spectacular, the neighborhood quiet. The home was tastefully decorated and comfortable with plenty of items one would need to be comfortable: kitchen had plenty of tools, utensils. The woodstove was cozy and nice to have firewood inside ready to use. Jonathan was quick to respond and accomodate our needs. We had a most enjoyable evening and morning there.

This was one of the best places I’ve stayed in the Puget sound area. The home was absolutely lovely. Clean, the water from the tap was the best tasting water ever!!! The queen bed I slept in felt like sleeping on a cloud. I was out within minutes. While there is a road right outside the front of the house, I heard zero road noise during the night. It doesn’t seem like a busy road. The water was beautiful. It was snowing on our drive up, which was so pretty. We got the fire going in the stove and warmed up quickly. The decor was modern, tasteful, and elegant. You can tell there is pride here in the home. Attention to detail was evident.

We loved this home. It’s so clean and beautifully decorated. Very cozy with a water view. Bed was soft with nice pillows . Shower had plenty of hot water. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook. Jonathan was very easy to reach and answered my questions quickly. It was a seamless experience. Thank you guys so much for having us!

We had a wonderful stay and felt right at home in this cute 2 bed 1940s beach house. It’s been really thoughtfully decorated with some beautiful, high quality pieces. We loved the portable TV and coffee options. Sitting in the armchair to read and look out at the water was another highlight. We would love to come back!

We stayed in this cozy home for the weekend to celebrate our Anniversary. Absolutely beautiful home, pristine, and comfortable. We tried out the fire place as suggested but it was a bit of a chore to keep it going so we used the electric heater instead which worked fine. No drapes on the large living room windows so don’t walk around naked lol. We would definitely stay here again. It doesn’t say it in the description but they have a Nespresso with pods! Every time we travel we kinda dread having normal pot coffee lol So this was such a welcome treat.

Okay this place is GORGEOUS and so cozy! Everything has been thought out! And this might not be a big deal to others, but my gosh I really appreciated the quality pillows and natural fiber bedding (I always pack my own bedding because most rentals have polyester sheets that make me miserably hot). We were SO cozy. The kids loved the toys and books and the room they shared. The views were stunning, we even got to see a rainbow. Host was caring and communicative. I love cooking, and they had everything I could need. It was a perfect peaceful getaway from it all, and we felt right at home. Would recommend 10/10!

Our stay was wonderful, relaxing and peaceful. There were no surprises and everything was exactly as expected from the photos and descriptions. We had dinner in Belfair, which was a lovely drive, and then really just wanted to get back to enjoy the house. It was a super quick weekend away for our anniversary, but ended up being exactly what we needed.

We had a great stay! The house is just as shown in the pictures, very clean, all of the amenities. Loved how it was decorated. It ended up being a very rainy and windy (lights went out!) but it was very cozy and they had lanterns charged and ready. Highly recommend.

The cottage is so peaceful, beautiful inside, and the view is amazing. I really loved the decor and the pastel colours with contemporary design. It was one of the best decorated small places I've been to. I don't know if it was professionally decorated or someone has an amazing talent, either way it's a compliment. The view was beautiful as well and even better in person. The cottage had everything we needed, and we appreciated the baby kids toys since we were travelling with small ones. Jonathan was responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend this beautiful cottage!

This house is an adorable 2 bedroom 1 bathroom with cozy beds and retro house vibes. The bed sheets were as soft as butter. There are 2 fans to keep cooler on warm days/nights and and smart tv in the living room as well as an essential oil diffuser. The beach stairs are a little rickety and the beach needs to be a little more cared for as there was a rotting beaver carcass right in the area where the fore pit was. But overall, this house has charm and comfort and they even provided fire wood, for those who get a chance to use it. We saw a small brown squirrel, whale and several seals as we left as well which really made this visit extra sweet.

This was such a beautiful stay! We were looking for a peaceful, private getaway and that’s exactly what we got. The private beach was the highlight—we spent back-to-back nights watching the sunsets and the stars. The home itself was intimate, cozy, and so well designed. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at this beach Airbnb! The place was beautifully decorated, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The beds were super comfy, and we loved waking up to the stunning view each morning. The beach was just steps away, which made it so easy to enjoy the sand and surf anytime we wanted. On top of that, the host was incredibly accommodating and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience even smoother. Overall, a perfect spot for a beach getaway . We’d absolutely stay here again!

We spent only 1 night here, but I completely agree with previous reviews - it is totally worth it to have a longer vacation at this cabin. The nature (lake and mountains) is amazing and it is definitely a great spot for watersports activities. The host was proactive and easy to get in touch with. The cabin is tastefully decorated and very intimate. And very important for a good vacation - the beds were extremely comfortable! In summary, our short stay was perfect and we will definitely include this place on our revisiting list.

The Hood Canal is my favorite place to be! I live close enough that we can launch the boat or just find some place to float for the day. Someday I will live there, until then I will stay at this house as much as I can. The code that I got for the door did not work. I messaged and thought it would be a little bit of time before I heard back, which was fine, we were unloading the car and the front porch is large and covered. I didn't even get to the bottom of the steps before Jonathan was messaging me back and I was inside. It is so cute, comfy, welcoming, and the view is incredible. The weather did not cooperate with our boating and fun in the water plans...it rained for two days...but we took some much needed naps, read, made nice meals, drank wine, and really relaxed. I did jump in the water before we left...it was a little chilly but, I loved it. It is well stocked and clean. I didn't want to leave.

I appreciated the group’s great communication and support. Jon messaged the day of check in and on my check out day. I will definitely be spreading the word on this gem. We loved our stay here and wish we hadn’t only spent one night. We had an epic sunset and loved the morning views of the harbor seals in the water. Would be a great place to stay for the weekend since things nearby are open then too.

This beach house was a dream come true. Nestled in the stunning town of Tahuya, we were delighted by the abundance of oysters along the shore. The home itself was spotless and offered truly breathtaking views. We made unforgettable family memories here!

Wow - what a beautiful cabin and location! Thanks Jonathan and team - y'all were so friendly and helpful! It was easy to find, parking was convenient and right across from the house, and entry was also super easy. House was clean, well-maintained, and decorated beautifully - we loved the vintage range! Located directly across from the beach - my son took advantage of your kayak and paddled all over the canal! This is one of the best experiences we have had with a host and highly recommend to anyone in the Tahuya area or exploring the Olympic Peninsula. We hope to be back for a longer stay!

Wanted to find a place to stay and enjoy some oysters and the cabin did not disappoint. The cabin has a lot of natural lighting which makes the home pretty bright throughout the day. I extremely love love how we get all the views of the water. The only thing I would recommend is to bring your own water boots if you are going to come for some oysters. We had to stop by a place near QFC to get ourselves some more gloves and water shoes because it gets pretty hard to walk on the bed of oysters on the beach. But other than that, it was all worthwhile because we had so much fun. Would definitely come back if we ever get the chance to go again, thank you for hosting us :)!

Jon's place was the cutest, most relaxing place in the most pristine position. Jon was so responsive and even let us check in a bit earlier. My friends and I felt so comfortable. Maintaining the fire to keep the house warm was a bit confusing as it was our first time doing anything like that, but it was a cool experience, nonetheless.

Peace and quiet in a beautiful setting. We were fortunate to have glorious weather and took full advantage sitting out on the lovely deck and going down onto the beach. The cabin was well appointed, extremely clean and adorable. It is a distance from stores (there is a grocery store very near by in summer but not when we went) or restaurants but that was exactly what we wanted. I would recommend studying up on oysters and clams before coming. They were bountiful and I wish I had looked into it a bit more before coming. Jonathan did provide helpful websites to reference. Jonathan was very kind, flexible and helpful. I highly recommend this quaint, calming and beautiful cabin.

Super clean, cute, and gorgeous view!!

We had a wonderfully relaxing two-night stay at this beautiful place. The home had everything we needed—from plenty of coffee to clean, high-quality bedding, well-stocked cookware, and condiments. The view of the water was absolutely stunning, providing a serene backdrop to our stay. Although it rained most of the time (as expected in March), it didn’t affect our experience at all. We stayed cozy indoors and also took a drive to Alderbrook Resort. Overall, this place made our vacation perfect, and we would love to stay again!

We had a wonderful, restful weekend. The house was cozy and the view was incredible.

Lovely place, photos don’t do it justice! Beautiful interior, impeccably clean, very homely feel with lots of lovely touches. The view out onto the water is amazing to wake up to everyday. The location is very quiet and relaxing and there is plenty to explore a short drive away. We encountered some problems with the stove during our stay, but this was resolved through excellent communication with Jonathon (even on Christmas Day!!) Would highly recommend for a relaxing trip away.

We loved staying at the Leonora by the sea! It was a beautiful place to retreat after the busy holiday. There's a beautiful view of Hood Canal from the front window, and the wood stove made the place feel very cozy. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the bed was very comfortable. We'll definitely come again in the future!

Great location and stunning canal view with beach access. It’s very relaxing and quite. Great host with flexible check-in and out. It’s extremely clean with all amenities, especially with so many family games. It’s private and safe as it’s fully fenced, which we love. Great neighborhood. House interior smells great 👍, which is rare for AirB&B. Firewood fireplace is awesome. Great price. You can’t find location with a price like this anywhere else. It’s alway great to be back in Belfair/Tahuya. It’s a must book. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic Home!! Had a girls trip and this place fit the bill. It is right on the water and has unbelievable views. It is private, quiet and adorable. Two full-size bedrooms and a pull out couch. Lots of sitting areas to view the water and wildlife. We saw seals and all kinds of birds. The retro kitchen was an absolute delight. Fully stocked and everything you need is there. There is a wood-burning stove and plenty of wood to have a roaring fire. The bathroom is large and functional & pink 💖 The host, Jonathon, was very responsive and accommodating. He even gave us early check in. The instructions are clear with everything in the house. We look forward to staying at this place again. Highly recommend!!

My Husband and I stayed at Casa Leonara for my birthday getaway. What a delight it was! The interior of the cabin was so calming, thoughtfully decorated and laid out, with the coziness of a wood burning stove. The beach is right in front of the cabin with amazing views of Hood Canal and wildlife. Jonathan, our host was easily accessible when we had questions and is just a really nice person! We have stayed at many cabins along the Hood Canal and Casa Leonara rates high on our list. We will be back!
